RPMlastNight is canned after this season, what will become of rpm.com ? & jack Arute's uneducated articles?



ps I call it rpmLastNight as it only has days old nascar news& repeat of nascar news, & ad nauseum discussions of nascar topics for the umpteenth time

Well, b2667b is our mole in Arute's e-mail; since they have been in contact, maybe we could get Jack to post over here and try to convince him why he is all wrong and that we should not share Tony George's infinite wisdom???

Now maybe SPEED will make SpeedNews a daily show, sans-Crapwagon daily spew. I can handle fresh NASCAR news, so long as I get CART/F1 news every day

I like John Kernan, he is pretty open and does prefer CART to earl. He used to be a regular poster at 7g. I hope he finds a home. Maybe Robin will get a shot on Speed, I think without the Mouse influence he may be an actual reporter again.

Just as long as they keep that fookin' idiot Kenny Mayne away from motorsports of all types ~ I can still hear that moron saying in a phoney German acccent worse than John Banner (Sgt. Schulz) on Hogan's Heroes, "Mike-Kall-SCHEW-Mock-Er" and it just makes me cringe...John Kernan would be just fine - hell, even Marlo Klain would be bearable.

I don't know about Marllo Klain, I think she is really a man! I treid a thread on msf about her manliness with got canned after about 10 minutes. What do you guys think?

I believe RPM is going to be weekends only.

I agree that John Kernan is a true fan of CART. He left 7th Gear cause he publicly said some honest stuff about CART at the time.....and an EARL fan posted it all over the place. He quit posting and chatting after that. (sorta his own fault).

Not exactly sure what John posted, but motorsportstv.com (NASCAR biased site) picked up on it, John also stopped posting on Beechler forum too

Do you think he would join us here? I think he would be welcome; at least I think we would make him feel welcome, unlike some of the F1 forum at MSF who told Rick DeBruhl to "scan his driver's license and prove his identity..."

I would like to see him over here.

JohnK would be welcome, SDF1 just shows how snotty the F1 board at MSF is!

I think by the time he got to Trackforum, he had eneough with getting into philosophical arguments on Forums!

he only went to 7G & TF to post RPM heads up!


Xica reckoned that deBruhl at MSF was someone posting on forums on his behalf, she asked him a few Qs & if it was him he'd know the answer!

You are absolutely correct about that,at least I never knew the inside story anyway. I just figured that the membersihp over here would be a great deal more tolerant. I still feel that way.

RPM was always two different shows. The weekday one came from Charlotte with Kernan. The weekend one came from ESPN's home office in Bristol, Conn., first with Kenny Mayne, then Rece Davis, now with Winkthedweeb...a training ground for SportsCenter anchors. Kernan's show is canned, but the (cheaper to do) weekend show stays.

The RPM website also stays, Robin still has that gig (if he wants it); Marlo and Jackmyroot are both on the IRL broadcasts;

BTW, Marlo is definitely girly...she was even cute a couple of kids ago.

First, Kernan and Miller need to soap their mouths off to wash away the bad stench of speaking the ESPN/IRL party line.

Next, maybe they should take a page from Speed Channel and cover CART more dilligently. Wait, Kernan can't, R2N is dead.

Miller could, but would Speed Channel be able to get him? (And would they do a daily Speed News instead of the current weekly?)
