idnt really care at that point. both cars were dominate and far ahead of all others. I dont think it bodes well for F 1. now 2 races this year end this way. they need someone to step of to ferrari or this may continue next year. enjoyed the mid pack racing and just the sounds of the cars. thats tech!!!!!!!!!

I'm with memofanatic. The championship/race was pretty much a foregone conclusion, so I really didn't care too much that Michael lifted. I was wrapped-up in the mid-pack racing which was pretty good.

Tough to care. If all others that dismal, not much choice. Basic autocross. Hope others do something for '03. Hard to recall that level of dominance in other series with assorted mechanicals. Perhaps Hulme & McLaren in dem orange Kiwi cars.
Long winter ahead..........hope Suz decent.
Cheers.............PL:rolleyes:

I find it hilarious that the lemmings are wetting their pants because "the closest F1 finish ever" took place at the Home of the Sacred Bricks.

Who cares. Michael and Rubens dominated the weekend. I was cheering for Rubens to win and was as surprised as the rest that he did. I think Michael was trying to get a nice photo op and Rubens just got by him. It was a mistake. 1-2, 2-1, it doesn't matter. The championship is decided, the second place is decided and the constructors champ is decided. Doesn't change anything with the order of finish.

I was hoping that the idiot grandson was going to fall off the stand and land on his fat head while waving the chequered flag, but no such luck...

Maybe the best thing that can be said is that Clabber Boy did a better job waving the checkered flag at IMS than Pele did in Brazil this year.
Not that that's saying much. . .

The season has long been over. Who cares how they split it up, they're on the same team! I love reading the bullsheet from Crap Cavin about how it was a huge farce, etc.
Sorry Crapwagons! They closest finish in Indy history now belongs to the F1 boys (btw, the way REAL NA engines are supposed to sound)
