I just want to say how much I enjoy watching World Superbike. Not too much gets said around here about it. Yesterday's double race from Misano produced some great racing. Race 1 saw a wet/dry race that had the field mixed up while riders were switching bikes part way through. Ben Spies came from way back, more than 17 seconds I think, to win. Race 2 saw Spies drop way down the order with a problem to his bike before mounting a comeback and finishing 9th. While Jonathan Rea passed Michel Fabrizzio on the last lap to win with Haga in a close 3rd.

Spies also took the double at Miller Motorsport a couple weeks ago. Next race is this weekend from Donington. Unfortunately, things slow down a bit after that, with just 1 race in July, none in August, but then back with 2 in September and October as well. Anyway, I just wanted to show some love for WSBK here. Check it out if you haven't already. I think you'll be entertained.

Just another update. The Championship is really close now. Ben Spies (#19 Yamaha) is only 7 points behind leader Noriyuki Haga (#41 Xerox Ducati).

Troy Corser (#11 BMW) led BMW's first laps in WSBK and finished 5th in Brno. Also in Brno, Max Biaggi (#3 Aprilia) led Aprilia to their 1st win in WSBK.

There's been some great racing. They're on a bit of a break now, but will be back racing in September. Check it out.
