As of now PT will not be racing that day.
I just found out that a friend died, and his memorial is the 19th.
So for now I am double un-RSVPd.

Actually he'll be driving the Texas race. The reason confused me. They either moved the race to Texas or they moved Paul's drive to Texas due to the Sponsor being from Dallas.

When I checked the truck schedule they don't show a Vegas race.

P.S. They didn't move the race. They didn't "move" sponsorship. They moved Paul's drive. I look forward to hearing "the reason" that "confused" you.

The links worked.

After reading your post above about PT not racing I emailed Paul to ask him if he was going to miss the race due to a death. His answer was that he was going to be doing the Texas race as the sponsor was from Dallas. I was left with a bit of confusion as I wasn't clear if it was the race itself had been moved or just his scheduled race had been changed. I asked him to clarify but he hasn't gotten back to me yet.

After his email I went to the Nascar site for the first time and read this page http://www.nascar.com/races/cup/2008/data/schedule.html It may well be the wrong schedule. I don't know one Nascar series from the other as I don't watch Nascar.

I'll be sure to report what PT says but I don't think it has anything to do with a death.
