Ok, do they automatically send you updated stickers for the CCIC cards?
I received a renewal sticker last year and not yet this year.
Did I just assumed they would resend this years sticker?

Yeah it has to be the postal system. they lost my brother-inlaws and my best mans and 2 other friends. out of the five of us that sent in Lori and I were the only ones to get cards. No biggie, I let them use my card at the Merchandise trailer for the discount. I'm sure they look at it differently though. :)

I actually get the discount I just tell them I forgot the card. Worked the last two years anyway. My girlfriend and I registered at the same time last year at PDX she got hers in the mail but I did not? It's a conspiracy I tell you!!! I am going to go put on my aluminum foil hat and wait for the black helicopters.

If you applied previously and didn't get a card, apply again this year.
Those that already have cards were informed that our cards were good for this year even though we didn't get 2007 stickers.
No need for those who don't have cards (or didn't get them in '05-06) to deluge CCIC with emails...Just sign up again on the website and wait for your confirmation email...then RESPOND to the confirmation and place a little trust in the snail-mail system once again. there are a large number of people in their situation and very few people on the management end of the CCIC (and most of them wear many hats along the way).
Heck, if you succeed, you will have something that those of us who have been members since we PAID to be there will have something we don't have: a CURRENT membership card! (no bias intended or inferred by this notation).

I wish they would go back to the paid membership. Can't exactly tell you why other than the hat we got. I just want it to be so. :) :)

It just so happens I asked Anaya about 2007 card/stickers the other day. She told me using my 2006 card/sticker would suffice in 2007. She also noted there is only 1 person to handle CCIC registrations and mailings therefore the delay.
She also said, it took her 3 years to get her CCIC card initially.
It seems to me, CC should devote more energy to its known paying customers.
Hope that helps.

Good grief ... instead of complaining about what you do not have or have not received and how it is someone else's fault why don't you instead think along the lines of 'how can I help' ... 'can I volunteer to help out CCIC in some way to get the membership information out to those that applied quicker' ... 'I love CC and would do whatever I can to help get it out there to others and get them hooked as well'
you get my drift .........

I would do it. If they wanted to send me the stuff and cover all expenses I would volunteer the time. I know I could get a few helpers too. Thats a standing offer. Who do I send it to?

Why not have a web based system. You print out your own card after you register on line. A lot of businesses do it that way. You can print out your movie tickets at home and then just scan them when you get to the theater. It would be so easy to do.
You could have multi tier systems. Free memberships and paid that have extra things like t-shirts or hats.

Maybe thats my next tattoo. A Champ Car Membership on the back of my hand just above the wrist. That would be cool as long as I had the same number for life. I wonder if they would authorize or accept it as an official one?

I just had an idea, how about if Champ Car passies the 2007 stickers out at the booth during the races. That makes sense and would save on postage.

See what can happen if you think about it?
Excellent ideas above. Not sure I would go the tattoo route myself though Fred.
