If you damage a car on Sunday in Las Vegas and you have to run it in Long Beach on Friday, do you airfreight it back to the shop somewhere east? Do you fix it in the pits at the last race? Do you have friends with a shop somewhere on the road?

How do those things get fixed away from home?

If NHL needed that car intact, does that mean they have no spare or they are rotating that spare and hoping for no wrecks during practice?

Does anyone have a reckoning as to how many cars have been made?

Does the shortage of spares come from the manufacturer being busy still making complete cars?

These are questions I have not seen asked lately.

NHL Racing had 4 cars in the paddock. 2 in McDonalds livery and 2 Medi-Zone livery.

The guys from Carl Hass Automotive were busy unloading crates and unwrapping all sorts of parts stocking the trailer Friday morning. It looked like the crates had just arrived. The guy told me they had plenty of parts.
