I wish it would stop raining down here EVERY weekend!

This puts a premium on those guys who can drive well in the wet, on a bumpy course.

We'll probably see lots of offs throughout the course of the race... and this increases the chances of the Audi-Bentley battle being very interesting, and it might give the Dyson 675 MG-Lola a very good chance to do well.

If it were merely just a race in the rain over a specified 2 hour time then it would be easier to speculate on who this benefits. However,12 hours brings into play so many different factors and places a higher premium on good fortune than I would ideally prefer. In any case, I like rain races, as it tends to equalize for variances in power between similar cars, and brings driver skills (Max ;)) to the forefront.

Not quite the Biblical quantities of rain at Le Mans back in '01(?) Should be neat to watch the Bentleys circulate in that. So, who has the best rain tires?

Um, I thought they had to cancel the race at Sebring if the forecast _didn't_ call for rain. Sorry folks, we had to postpone due to good weather.

Best rain memory of Sebring: In-car video feed from Hans in a 911 driving the road course (circa '92) with one hand and wiping the fog off the inside of his windshield with the other. Next pitstop theyactually changed the blower motor.

Been there, at above for National. Part of the fun. Also at 'Hawk when whole bit cancelled when 5' of water settled in turn 5(I think). Best stories night before clutching to tent posts as ankles submerged. The best......

Wish them all well & sense of humor....
