Although the 500 lap under-the-lights event at the short track in Salem, Indiana will not beheld for another 3 and a half hours, it's time to start the TAUNTING, because we've got pride on the line as the winners of races in CWGT Season 1 will be here for the NADIRA ALL STAR CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY AUTORACING2.COM.
Yes, that's right, the sponsor of the Nurburgring 24 Hours is back as title sponsor for this and all future all-star challenges, wherever they may be held. Mr. V has chosen a 500 miler at an oval, and while it is impossible to do 500 miles at Salem due to the lap limitations of N2003, it IS possible to do 500 laps of beating, banging, and all out general carnage on gomer ground.
Here are the drivers who will be HEADLINING tonight's All-Star Challenge, with support races of the Firestone Wilderness Ford Explorer series, the Lucas Oil Big Wheel World Finals, and the 1:18 Radio Control Monster Jam. BTW, Concessions are only $4 per soda, $10 per hot dog, and $2 per cheese curd, and the restrooms are 25 cents for entry. Programs will be $10 each and the proceeds from those and the 150K tickets sold will be given to the Trust United to Reeducate Depender.

Also, immediately after the race, at the fried Oreo and Twinkie booth, will be our CWGT BANQUET AND AWARDS CEREMONY, where Mr. Vengeance will receive his trophy for his hard work this season, the ROTY award is up for grabs between Madre and Rogue Leader (who each won in their very first start), power&glory (who survived the 24 Hours of the Ring) and RobGuru and McB (who, in their respective first seasons of offline GT each won two races), and where ABES will likely be roasted with the Raul Boesel Award for many consecutive events of futility.
The Pat Bedard Award for Driving Excellence will be awarded to me in all likelihood as I flipped twice this season in truly spectacular crashes.
And finally, the Norris MacDonald Drivel Award will go to the pilot of the spycopter and the driver of the #20 Autoracing2.com/Gulf BMW, Mark Tortellini, whose tenacious attempts to get inside the paddock gates at every event have usually resulted in the biggest security beatdowns known to man, until he figured out that getting a ride himself would allow him unimpeded access to the drivers and teams of CWGT.
