One of our wonderful Crappies, Lito, will be driving a #26 Venezuela/Crapwagon.com car this Saturday in the 7th Annual Bull Run 1000 endurance simrace, hoping to finish well up the grid. I have all the confidence he'll be able to do it :D

For more information on the BR1K, check out http://www.tptcc.com/br1000 to see the entry list and other details.

EDIT: Here's a great history of the event:

This year brings a new feature to the event in the form of online radio coverage thanks to our very own FCYTravis, who is very experienced with commentating online races (including stints with Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s DMP online series). Due to his efforts (and the approval of TPTCC meister and TheUsPits admin Jan Kohl), we will have LIVE RADIO COVERAGE for you to follow along!

www.kgmrradio.com

The race will be at 9 AM Pacific/12 PM Eastern so follow along and let's hope for our Crappy to hit up victory lane! :toast:

The radio situation may not be finalized, but I WILL have a live thread up somehow (if I can't follow via radio, then I'll follow via NRTV).

Now, for something to bide all of our time with, something to look out for this Saturday: team strategy for the race!

EDIT: Read the last post for the latest update on the broadcast. Disregard all info in this post.

In good news, Travis has confirmed the radio schedule for the Americanracing.us Bull Run 1000, which will begin in less than 9 hours! To check it out, go to http://www.kgmrradio.com according to the following information:

The Shasta Cola Pre Race Show will start at 8:45 AM Pacific/11:45 AM Eastern, and qualifying for the Americanracing.us Bull Run 1000 starts at 9 AM Pacific/12 PM Eastern.

Coverage is presented both by KGMR Radio and by GP Motorsports Engineering - http://www.gpsports-eng.com - a part of the Crapwagon/ChampcarFanatics Racing Team, and home of 2004 American Continental Championship title holder Greg Pizzo!

The official notice will be posted in the 11/13 Champcar News Rundown; the above info is as it currently stands, barring any last-minute changes.

Coverage has been shifted due to server issues. Disregard all info in the above two posts.

To follow the race, download Paltalk (available at www.paltalk.com) and once the software is loaded, go to the Sports And Hobbies section and look for Bull Run 1000.

Also, for those who have NRTV (available at www.nrtvlive.com) and who want to follow along, BE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE AT http://www.nrtvlive.com/files/NRTV_TrackPack_01.exe - once that is done, when you load up the NRTV software, look for the TPTCC server and connect to that.
